JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE:
To undertake the review of business regulations and government policies in order to ensure they promote improvement in the business regulatory environment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Undertakes timely the review of regulatory frameworks in order to improve the quality of regulations.
• Undertakes effectively periodic research on regulatory environment to facilitate decision making.
• Undertakes periodically, monitoring and evaluation of the regulatory environment and implementation of business reform interventions in order to develop appropriate interventions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Primary/Secondary Education:
• Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Vocational/Professional Qualifications: Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
• Three (3) years
• Communication Skills
• Able to write comprehensive and analytical reports. Able to communicate effectively in English.

DUTY STATION
• The Senior RIA officer under Business Regulatory Review Agency will be stationed in Lusaka

DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT
• The position is on contract of (3) years with a possibility for renewal.
