JOB DETAILS:
Role Description
• This is an internship role for a Social Media Marketing Intern. The Social Media Marketing Intern will create social media content, execute social media campaigns, support digital marketing initiatives, and assist with marketing communication. This is a hybrid/mostly remote role located in Lusaka. This internship could lead to a permanent position.

Qualifications
• Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation abilities
• Digital Marketing and Marketing expertise
• Excellent Communication skills
• Creative and innovative mindset
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar design software is a plus
• Experience with Meta, or similar social media management software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred
• 4th-year university students (undergraduate or graduate) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
• Assist in creating weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
• Support marketing team at live and online events
• Perform social media marketing research.
• Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms.
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Create compelling graphics to share across social channels.
• Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
• Assist with photo/video content shoots
• Ensure brand message is consistent
