Software Engineer (Android / iOS Mobile App / Web Platform Developer)
Overview
A mobile app and web platform developer to build new products and platforms with cutting-edge tools and technology, in making the innovations that will impact the world. As part of the engineering team in the Mulena Information Technology), you’ll work in integrating the latest research technologies into digital products – in areas from healthcare, security, education to entertainment and social media. This includes web platforms, mobile apps that provide location-based, information retrieval, visualization, interactive and shoppable video streaming services. Duties & Responsibilities
Design and build commercial applications
Develop, configure and deploy web/mobile applications/platforms for various projects (e.g., location-based services, social networking, big data processing, information retrieval, interactive and shoppable video streaming)
Interface & integrate with external tools, modules and libraries based on project needs (e.g. opencv, ffmpeg)

Qualifications
• Diploma/Degree/Master/ in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
• Strong hands-on programming skills in C++/Java
• Strong foundation and knowledge in Object Oriented (OO) design and concepts
• Able to work comfortably across Linux/Windows development and deployment environments
• Able to work independently, as a strong self-starter, and collaborate with other engineers, researchers and designers to build quality products
• BONUSES | Skills and expertise in any of these domains will be a plus:
• Native mobile application development in iOS / Android (NDK)
• Web application development with HTML5 / CSS / JS libraries and frameworks
• Backend server architecture and development (e.g. PHP, node.js, Python/Flask)
• Database design and optimization with SQL, NoSQL (e.g. MySQL, mongoDB)
• Media streaming libraries and frameworks (ffmpeg, DASH, H.264/265, video.js)
• 3D-print prototyping, hardware, sensor device interfacing (e.g. arduino, BLE, serial, mbed)
• With very good package
