Background
The Zambia Joint Country Programme (JCP) is a consortium of two international faith-based Non-governmental Organisations comprising Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) and Dan Church Aid (DCA). NCA is the lead agency. JCP works closely with a range of faith-based and secular partners in Zambia within two overall strategic pillars of Gender Justice and Economic Justice. JCP promotes and coordinates the two agencies’ (NCA & DCA) work in advancing gender and economic equality as fundamental to the attainment of SDGs and a Just Zambia, contributing to the NCA Global agenda of seeking Justice and Saving Lives and overall vision of a Just World.

JCP contends that any institution that achieves its objectives is an efficient organisation. There are a number of factors that affect organisational efficiency, and ranked amongst the top is team work through coordinated approach mechanism which promote collective reflections and learnings. This contributes to synergy creation and agility of JCP. To that effect, JCP believes in the building of an effective team. Team work is considered as a project that is seen as a basis for the success of all other projects and is therefore fundamentally connected to all JCP efforts at realising success.
