JOB DETAILS:
Job Overview:

TO BE AN INTERNAL APPLICATION SOFTWARE DEVELOPER AND CONSULTANT-
a) Plans, designs, documents, implements, tests and maintains server or department specific client applications to enable end users work efficiently when need arises.
b) Install Navision client software on new terminals and configure the new end users.
C) Monitor system performance, implement software upgrades, and troubleshoot issues that arise.
d) Plan for server software installations and upgrades by liaising with software vendors and creating test environments where performance can be monitored, documenting results and corrective measures taken, before setting up the production environment to minimise on incompatibility issues and reduce on downtime during system change overs.
e) Maintain software license agreements and all media to safeguard the software copies from unauthorized access and usage and ensure that necessary periodic renewals are done on time.
f) Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
g) Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
h) Coordinate ICT training program arrangements, company-wide and internal, with Human Resource Department and carry out any other assigned duties.

Qualifications;
• Grade twelve (12) certificate
• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in the related job
