A reputable Commercial Bank in Zambia is seeking to recruit self-motivated, enthusiastic and innovative persons to fill the following position(s) in the stated locations
Team Lead, Culture and Transformation
Specific responsibilities and duties
Cultural Integration:
• Identify and address cultural gaps or conflicts, promoting collaboration, understanding, and mutual respect across teams and departments.
• Champion cultural change initiatives by establishing clear objectives, communicating effectively, and facilitating engagement and buy-in from stakeholders.
• Transformation Strategy:
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define the bank’s transformational goals, vision, and strategic direction.
• Lead the development and implementation of a transformation roadmap, encompassing organizational structure, processes, and systems, to drive efficiency, agility, and innovation.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of transformation initiatives, identifying barriers and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
Leadership and Team Development:
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to a diverse team, fostering a high-performance culture and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.
• Set clear expectations, establish goals, and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
• Identify and provide relevant training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance the team’s capabilities and expertise.
Change Management:
• Act as a change agent by effectively managing the impact of cultural and organizational changes on employees, ensuring their understanding, acceptance, and adoption.
• Develop and implement change management strategies, including communication plans, stakeholder engagement, and training programs.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives, adjusting and improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
• Build strong partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and key stakeholders to drive cultural alignment and transformational change.
• Foster positive relationships with employees at all levels, promoting open communication, trust, and transparency.
• Act as an ambassador for the bank’s culture and transformation efforts, representing the organization internally and externally.
• Any other duties as may be assigned/deemed necessary.

Qualifications
• Minimum Education: University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or any other relevant field.
• Professional Certification: ZIHRM/CIPD/SHRM/SPHRi
• Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in Human Resource Management, of which at least 3 must have been in the Banking Sector and 3 years must have been at a senior management level

Skills and Abilities
• Proven experience in leading cultural integration and organizational transformation initiatives, ideally in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
• Results-oriented with a focus on driving performance and achieving goals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex and ambiguous situations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in banking.
