JOB DETAILS:
The Sales Representative is responsible for Sales and Business Development. This includes client management, administration and any ad hoc duties requested by the Manager or any other person in a senior position.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify potential Clients and projects as well as follow up on new leads and referrals
• Create new business opportunities for the Company by presenting and selling products and services to new and existing Clients
• Ongoing Client communication regarding new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set by Management
• Manage and develop existing Key Accounts through quality checks and other follow-ups
• Identify and resolving Client concerns and or queries
• Maintain a professional relationship with the Clients by delivering and adhering to their requirements as well as offering customer support both during and after the project has been completed
• Manage the quality and consistency of product and service delivery
• Manage the progress of the projects
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals, tenders and contracts
• Prepare status reports including sales forecasts, information on activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to goals
• Develop and maintain the customer base in order to meet all sales forecasts and budgets

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Relevant Technical Qualification at NQF6 / BTech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Bsc (Hons) Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years Sales experience or Key Account management experience
• Relevant experience in electrical distribution and industrial automation
• Knowledge of AC and DC Projects
• Must be able to calculate and understand backup loads
• Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in the IT or Network Infrastructure industries will be an advantage
• Must have Industry related knowledge of alternative power generation:
• Solar (Design and Implementation)
• Inverters High and Low voltage (Grid tie, Hybrid, Off Grid)
• Batteries (Lithium and Lead Acid) understand the concept and differences
• UPS Systems (single phase and 3 phase)
• Generator Systems (Diesel and Petrol – single phase and 3 phase)
• Must be proficient in MS Office and MS Projects
• Experience with budgeting and basic finances
• Must have a valid driver’s licence
