The Manyinga Town Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders. The scope of work in this contract includes, but not limited to the following: construction of 5 Lines of 1500 x 1500 portal culverts including the embankment and associated external works on Chongo crossing point in Manyinga District.

The tender is open to citizen bidders that are registered in Zambia as contractors in general roads and earthworks with the national council for construction (NCC) in category R, Grade 5, 6 or better have a tax clearance certificate with Zambia revenue authority, and must be a member of engineering institute of Zambia (EIZ) proof of which should be shown.

The bidding documents maybe collected from the office of procurement officer and suppliers unit, Civic Center, Manyinga Town Council, and PO Box 110008 Manyinga situated along M8 Road.

The bidders may inspect and obtain the tender document upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Zambian kwacha 500.00 or its equivalent in any convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or bank certified cheque account number 0195815217018 altasmara Kabompo Manyinga Town Council operation.

Domestic preference will be applied for bidders registered with citizen Economivate V Empowerment Commission (CEEC)

As follows:

a)            For a citizen-influenced company by four percent

b)            For a citizen-empowered company by eight percent

c)            For a citizen-owned company by twelve percent

Compulsory site visit is on Friday 3th March, 2023 at 10:30hrs to be attended by any knowledgeable company delegate.

All bids, in sealed envelopes accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% and 3% of the bid sum from the bank and insurance respectively sealed and delivered by guarantors, must be deposited in the tender box at the enquiries of the civic center, situated along M8 Road Manyinga, not later than 22 March, 2023 15:00hrs. The bids will be opened immediately after closing in the council chamber, in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
