MFL/E-SLIP/ORD/02/2021: Tender for The Supply and Delivery of Twenty (20No) Solar Kits

The Government of the Republic of Zambia has received funding from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of the Enhanced Smallholder Livestock Investment Programme (E-SLIP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this funding for payments under the Contract for the supply and delivery of Twenty (20NO) Solar Kits

The Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, now invites sealed bids from interested eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of TWENTY (20NO.) SOLAR KITS.

Bidding will be governed by the Government of the Republic of Zambia's eligibility rules and procedures and will be conducted through Open National Competitive Bidding specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2011 to the extent such are consistent with the IFAD Procurement Guidelines, whenever there is a conflict in meaning or interpretation, IFAD Framework takes precedence. The tender is open to eligible and interested bidders as specified in the Solicitation Documents

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Head - Procurement and Supplies Unit, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Procurement Unit Office, and inspect the Bidding Documents from 08:00 hours to 12:45 hours and 14:00 hours to 16:45 hours

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of K600.00 or its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or bank certified cheque.

Submission Procedure

The bids should be sent clearly marked "MFL/E-SLIP/ORD/02/2021: TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TWENTY (20NO) SOLAR KITS" addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, 3rd Floor, Mulungushi House, and must be sent not later than 19 August, 2021 at 10:00 hours local time.

The bids must be deposited in the tender box situated on the 3 Floor, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, 3rd Floor, Mulungushi House, on or before 19 August, 2021 at 10:00 hours local time, and must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided forinthe solicitation document

The closing date for the receipt of bids is 19 August, 2021 at 10:00 hours local time, and any bids received after the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted. The bids will be opened soon after closing in the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Boardroom on the 3rd Floor, Mulungushi House, Lusaka in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend

Late bids and telefax offers will not be accepted.
