1.The Ministry of Justice has received financing from the Government of the Republic of Zambia toward the cost of this Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Typesetting, Printing, Binding and Publication of the revised edition of the Laws of Zambia.

2.The Ministry of Justice now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Type-Setting, Printing, Binding and Publication of the revised edition of the Laws of Zambia.

3.Bidding will be conducted through the Open International Bidding (OIB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Solicitation Document.

4.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Justice, Attention: Head- Procurement and Supplies Unit, Independence Avenue, First Floor, P.O. Box 50106, Lusaka. Email address-Diana.Musa@moj.gov.zm. The physical sample can be inspected at the Ministry of Justice, Independence Avenue, First Floor, Procurement and Supplies Unit from Monday to Friday from 08 hours to 17 hours Zambian time.

5.A complete set of the Solicitation Document in English may be purchased by interested bidders online via EGP and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ZMW1,000.00 or in an equivalent convertible currency. The method of payment will be online via the EGP portal and the Bidding Documents will be sent Electronically via the Electronic Government Procurement System-EGP.

Submission Procedure

6.Bids must be submitted electronically via the Electronic Government Procurement System-EGP on or before 23" November, 2022 at 10:00 hours Zambian time. Electronic bidding is mandatory. Bids will be opened via the EGP System. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of the Tender sum or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
