The Tender will be conducted through the Open National Bidding (ONB) procedure.

3. Bidders are expected to attend a Prebid meeting and Visit the sites of drilling to examine the sites and its surroundings. The proposed Prebid meetings and Site visit dates will be on 18th May in Mwandi Districts. The Prebid meeting will take place on the above proposed date at 09:00hrs at the WaterAid Project Office in Mwandi District. The site visits are MANDATORY (site visit certificate will be issued) and related costs shall be at the bidder's own expense. Not late coming will be tolerated. All Bidders will leave for site visit at exactly 10:00 hours.

4. A margin of preference shall apply following the Preferential Procurement Clause for bidders registered with the Citizen Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) in line with ZPPA circular No. 2 of 2011 as follows;

(a) For a citizen influenced company, by four percent (4%) (b) For a citizen-empowered company, by eight percent (8%) (c) For a citizen-owned company, by twelve percent (12%)

Sealed bids (4 copies-1 original and 3 copies), appropriately bound, bold labeled must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at WaterAid Zambia, House No. 21A Middle Way, Kabulonga Lusaka, Zambia on or before Friday (26th May 2023) at 11:00 hours. The bids received will be opened immediately thereafter at WaterAid Offices in the conference room in presence of bidders or their proxies. LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
