Mulobezi Town Council has set aside funds and intends to apply part of these funds under the capital grants to cover eligible payments under the contract of the above works.

The Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders. The scope of work in this contract includes and not limited to the following: Construction of Council Office Block and its respective associate works as detailed in the bill of quantity.

The tender is open to firms that are registered in Zambia as contractors in building and civil engineering works with the National Council for Construction (NCC) in category B, grade 4, 5 and 6 only, have a valid Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) tax clearance certificate and must be a registered member with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) with a valid practicing certificate.

Bidders may inspect and obtain the tender documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K1,000.00 or its equivalent in any convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or bank certified cheque. The bidding document shall be collected from the office of the Head Procurement & Supplies Unit, Civic Centre, Mulobezi Town Council Situated at behind Sichili market, in Mulobezi of Mulobezi District of Western Province, Zambia.

Submission Procedure

All bids, in sealed envelopes accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% and 3% of the bid sum from the bank or insurance respectively sealed and delivered by the guarantor, must be deposited in the tender box at Procurement Unit, Civic Centre Mulobezi Town Council, not later than Thursday 4th May, 2023 at 10:00hrs. Bids will be opened immediately after closing at Procurement Unit, in the presence of bidders or their representative who choose to attend.

Compulsory site visit will take place on Wednesday 19th April, 2023 at 10hrs.
