Tender for the Provision of Security Services to North Western Water Supply & Sanitation Company's Commercial and Residential Properties On a Running Contract

1) North Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited has made provision toward the cost of procurement of Security Services and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this provision to cover eligible payments under this contract.

2) NWWSSCL now invites sealed bids from eligible providers of Security Services to NWWSSCL for the period April 2022 - March 2023 on running contract basis. A margin of preference will be applied as follows:
(a) Citizen Influenced companies – 4 percent
(b) Citizen Empowered companies – 8 percent
(c) Citizen Owned companies – 12 percent

3) Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Biding (ONB) procedure specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 08 of 2020 and Public Procurement Regulations of 2011.

4) Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the office of the Procurement Officer in Room 5, North Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited, Mema House, PO Box 110184 Solwezi. 5) A complete set of the bidding document may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K500.00 or its equivalent in any convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate, in cash or bank certified Cheque. The bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the bid sum.
HOWEVER, TELEFAX/ELECTRONIC OFFERS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

6) A pre- bid meeting to be followed by an inspection of the premises, will be held on 17th
February, 2022 at 10:00 hours. All prospective bidders are to convene in the Boardroom.

Submission Procedure
7) The bids must be deposited in the tender box at North Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Head-office, P.O. Box 110184 Solwezi, on or before Friday, 04th March, 2022 at 10:00 hours local time. The bids should be sealed and clearly marked "NWWSSCLIONB/SSC/01/22: Provision of Security Services on a One (01) Year Running Contract"

8) The closing date for the receipt of the bids is Friday, 04th March, 2022 at 10:00 hours local time. The bids shall be opened immediately after closing in the boardroom of North Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited, Mema House, in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
