• Organisation’s Background
• Emaid Climate Action Foundation is a Zambian not profit making organisation dedicated to fighting climate change in Zambia through tree planting and promotion of climate smart farming. The organisation is now looking for self motivated Tree Ambassadors ( Volunteers) to help spear head our Climate Change program in Lusaka through planting trees and sensitisation our programs to communities.

• About the Job
Tree Ambassadors are passionate environmental stewards who want to represent Emaid Climate Action Foundation and are not afraid to get their hands in the dirty to make an impact at work, at home, at school or at any event in the community. Together we are building a community of tree lovers who are doing their part in creating a sustainable greener future.

Responsibilities
I. Be a passionate environmental ambassador of the Foundation.
II. Participate in events held by the foundation upon invitation.
III. Promote and provide information about our events and programs.
IV. Assist in tree planting events.
V. Attend one or more volunteer training sessions upon invitation.

Qualifications
I. A genuine passion for environmental conservation and reforestation.
II. Ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of people in a professional and friendly manner.
III. Ability to work under minimal supervision
IV. Physically fit.
V. Having a Grade 12 certificate or a tertiary ( college/university ) is an added advantage.
VI. School leavers and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
