JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Works Engineer

GENERAL SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Zambian based candidate to fill the position of Civil Engineer. Due to the complexity of the rehabilitation works and expected need for prompt on-site decision making between CSE and contractor, if difficulties are encountered, MPCA-Zambia requires that Works Engineer shall perform the direct on-site supervision of the works.

SPECIAL SKILLS/COMPETENCES
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Demonstrated experience in research activities and administrative support functions
Must be organized and an independent worker
Must have excellent, communication, problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and human relationship skills.
Able to organize and schedule multiple work-related tasks efficiently

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• The job holder must have a minimum of a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Must have at least 10 years overall experience in design and construction.
• Professional (Certified) Engineer
• Proven site experience
• Experience in supervision of concrete works is recommended
