Job Purpose/Mission
The Trade Marketing Officer will help to create and deliver marketing campaigns for Engie Energy Access Zambia. Duties will include planning and managing the publication and distribution of publicity materials, executing of marketing events, such as dinners, promotions and product launches. The incumbent will also be required to represent the company at events.
Responsibilities
Trade Marketing
• In collaboration with Sales Managers, design & implementation plans for roadshows, activations and trade promotions .
• Quarterly Audit trade brand visibility and define initiatives to improve brand presence.
• Provide input for suitable Below the Line ( BTL) elements/materials by region
• Responsible for marketing material inventory storage, distribution, and usage- maintaining an up-to-date ledger of all resources and its value.
• Provide updates on competitor activities by region (on brand, trade promos, events)
• Exploring trade and visibility opportunities such as Wall & Shop branding, Digital Advertising and other non-traditional Outdoor platforms
Service Center Branding
• Branding of New & existing brick & mortar locations in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure timely delivery and installation of Service Center branding materials in line with campaign and promotional goals.
• Audit brand visibility at Service Center level and implement initiatives to improve brand presence at all customer touch points.
• Reporting Point of Sale Matriials (POSM) utilization in the Service Center to forecast monthly buying/production and inform annual budget.
Events & Exhibitions
• Organize and manage the resources required to create strong brand presence at corporate events such as exhibitions, traditional ceremonies, and trade shows.
• Ensure the EEA Brand is well represented at conferences and workshops by using the right materials to brand allocated spaces.
• Draw up project plans for traditional ceremony activities; submit for review & budget approval; implement and report against set targets.
• Identify sponsorship opportunities that guarantee brand exposure and recommend scope of participation
Procurement
• Management of the procurement of all branded elements ensure 100% adherence to the approved procurement policy.
Knowledge And Skills
• 1-3 Years’ experience in field branding & activations
• Experience working with mass market customers
• Excellent administrative skills
• Project management
• Experience in Solar Industry an added advantage
• Valid Driver’s License
Qualifications:
• Qualification in Marketing or Business Studies – Tertiary or University
Language(s):
• English
Technology:
• Proficiency in MS Office Package
