Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven professional to join our team as the Director of Quality Assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive quality assurance program, ensuring that our products or services meet and exceed industry standards. Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Quality Leadership:
– Develop and execute a strategic vision for the organization’s quality assurance program.
– Collaborate with executive leadership to align quality initiatives with business objectives.
2. Quality Management Systems:
– Establish and maintain robust quality management systems to monitor and improve product or service quality.
– Implement and enforce quality policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
– Lead and mentor a high-performing quality assurance team.
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and development within the quality assurance department.
4. Quality Control Processes:
– Develop and implement effective quality control processes to identify and address deviations from quality standards.
– Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor product or service quality.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
– Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure the organization’s adherence to relevant standards.
– Collaborate with regulatory affairs to address compliance requirements and maintain certifications.
6. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.
– Implement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
– Work closely with other departments, including product development, manufacturing, and customer support, to integrate quality into all aspects of the business.
– Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure quality standards throughout the supply chain.
8. Risk Management:
– Identify potential risks to quality and develop risk mitigation strategies.
– Lead investigations into quality incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
– Not less than 10 years experience in a senior quality assurance role, with a proven track record in leadership.
– In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and industry best practices.
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Experience in regulatory compliance and certification processes.
