The Biology & Chemistry Teacher will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive lessons in both subjects while fostering scientific curiosity. Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching key biological and chemical concepts with a focus on critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Designing and conducting laboratory experiments to help students understand theoretical concepts through practical applications.
  • Encouraging scientific research and inquiry-based learning among students.
  • Preparing students for national and international science examinations.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.
  • Keeping up to date with advancements in science education and integrating them into teaching.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject from a reputable university.
  • A minimum of three years teaching experience at the secondary school level.
  • Experience teaching exam-prep classes, including national and international curricula.
  • Registered with TCZ (Teaching Council of Zambia).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
