Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, extensive experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, and a solid understanding of tax, VAT, and cash flow computations. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and VAT requirements.
• Perform cash flow computations and monitor financial transactions.
• Handle FOREX accounting implications and related documentation.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Certification: Must be registered with ZICA (Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants).
• Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
o Expertise in tax, VAT, cash flow computations, and FOREX accounting implications.
