JOB DETAILS:
a) Job Purpose
To undertake the development and maintenance of Management Information Systems and provision of IT support for hardware and software in order to facilitate seamless user access to IT services and e-services.

b) Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, National Designated Authority and shall be responsible for:
• Backup: Undertakes effectively setting and maintaining a Backup system in order to ensure business continuity;
• Database Management System: Undertakes effectively the administration of database systems and documentation in order to ensure highest levels of data security, integrity and availability;
• Hardware: Undertakes effectively the installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of ICT hardware in order to meet end-user requirements;
• Software: Undertakes effectively the installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of IT software in order to facilitate service provision;
• Systems security: Undertakes effectively the provision of ICT systems security in order to safeguard the integrity of the Authority data and prevent unauthorized access;
• Capacity Building: Undertakes effectively capacity building of end-users in order to enable them to effectively utilize various ICT Systems in the performance of their work;
• ICT Systems: Undertakes effectively the alignment of ICT hardware and networks systems specifications with user requirements in order to conform to policies:

C) Requirements
The applicant must meet the following requirements:
• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits including English language or its equivalent;
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent Industry certification
• Member of the Information Technology Society of Zambia or equivalent;
• 3 years’ experience;
• Ability to write technical and analytical reports;
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
