JOB DETAILS:
E-Solar Tech Limited, a leading provider of innovative solar energy solutions, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Solar Technician to join our team at our Lusaka, Zambia office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our diverse range of solar products, including power backup systems, PV stand-alone units, solar panels, inverters, and solar pumps.

Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on installed solar energy systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar equipment, including panels, batteries, inverters, and other components
• Carry out minor repairs and replacements of solar system components
• Liaise with customers to provide technical guidance and support
• Maintain detailed records of all service and maintenance activities
• Assist the installation team with new solar system deployments as needed
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest solar technologies and best practices

Qualifications:
• Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the solar energy industry, preferably in a technician or installation role
• Strong understanding of solar system components, including panels, batteries, inverters, and charge controllers
• Proficient in the use of multimeters, testing equipment, and hand tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and the sales team
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• willingness to travel within the Lusaka region

Work Schedule/Remuneration
• This is a part-time position, with flexible working times and Remuneration is based on the number of installations, and site visits done in a month and also comes with a performance-based bonus
Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
