JOB DETAILS:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Zambians for the position of Pre Press Technician

Skills and Qualifications
• Certificate, Diploma or its equivalent in printing technology
• Traceable work experience
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Ability to troubleshoot and address printing concerns
• Good eyesight and attention to detail for colour and text proofing
• Good communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities
• Production of high quality printing plates for newspapers and other publications according to set standards
• Cleaning of all Printing Plate Imaging machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Carrying out make ready of materials and machines before production
• Imaging of Printing Plates needed for newspapers and other publications with the highest level of precision in the shortest possible lead time as specified by job card or Production Manager
• Carrying out settings on imaging machines to ensure efficient production with minimal waste
• Ensuring accurate data capture and record keeping of material usage for all jobs
• Ensuring that all safety and health regulations are adhered to during production.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by Superiors.
