JOB DETAILS:
• Baobab College is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of Principal at Baobab College, a top-level private international day and boarding school with a British curriculum.
• Start date August 2024 although availability will be considered.
• In 2022 Baobab College was honoured to be recognised in the Queen Elizabeth II official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album. Our school offers a world-class education to students aged 2 – 18 years old from diverse cultural backgrounds, on a beautiful campus with a warm and welcoming community. We are looking for a Principal who can help us maintain our high standards, taking us to even greater heights. As the Principal, you will be responsible for leading and managing the school, including overseeing the academic programme, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
• We require a candidate with a proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably within an international school setting. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, passionate for education, and a commitment to providing the best possible experience for our students.

Minimum qualifications:
• A suitable bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• A postgraduate degree in education or a related field, such as a Master’s or Doctorate in Education Minimum experience:
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior leadership position in school
• A strong understanding of the British curriculum and its application in an international context • Experience in managing a diverse and multicultural staff team
• Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate experience in implementing effective educational programmes
• A track record of delivering outstanding academic results
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
• Demonstrate experience and commitment to student and staff well-being
