1. Background:
Oxfam in Zambia under the Just Economies Pillar is working with Publish What You Pay, Save the Environment and People Agency and Zambia Alliance of Women in implementing an extractive industries project aimed at increasing women’s and Women’s Rights Organisations’ participation within the industry. The project, which is being implemented in Lufwanyama, Zambezi and Mwinilunga districts has been using the Gender Action Learning model to achieve real transformative change both within the partner organisations and target communities with the following interment outcomes:
After 7 years of implementation, the project comes to an end in May, 2024 and it is in light of this that Oxfam is seeking the services of a consultant to document the project journey. The purpose of the documentation is to innovative communicate the project’s success stories, lessons learned, challenges overcome, and best practices generated throughout the project implementation period.
