JOB DETAILS:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that the machine starts on time and daily targets are met
• Ensuring that the line is maximally utilized; no idle time, no unnecessary stoppages
• Supervising all operatives working on the line; ensuring that all line workers are gainfully utilized, no social loafing and loitering
• Accounting for stocks used; ensuring that waste is reduced in the entire process and finished products are counted at the end of the Shift
• Identifying problems on the line and quickly resolving them
• Conducting daily care and maintenance of the line so that the line is always in a good working condition
• Ensuring that Machines are always kept clean and in a hygienic condition
• Conducting regular quality checks of the entire process; quality at the source right up to packaging of the finished product
• Ensuring that the finished product is rightly produced and packaged; weights, manufacture, and best-before dates are correct.
• Must ensure that there is minimum waste in the entire process.
• Completing Daily production control templates; accounting for stocks used, waste, and finished products on the shop floor.

Education and Work Experience
• Must be a Zambian citizen and holder of a Green National Registration Card
• Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels including English and Mathematics
• Previous experience operating similar machinery applied for is a must( not less than 2 years experience)

• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task with effective results
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
