Land O’Lakes Venture37 (Venture37) invites proposals to conduct a baseline and GESI analysis for the 5-year CORE Program. CORE is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Cooperative Development Program. CORE aims to foster vibrant, sustainable cooperative ecosystems in Rwanda and Zambia in which self-managed cooperatives and all their members flourish economically and socially. This baseline and GESI analysis will focus only on Zambia.

The baseline and GESI analysis will document the current status of partner cooperatives, cooperative service providers and their members; assess the gender and youth inequalities in the cooperative ecosystem and recommend strategies for GESI integration in the CORE project design and implementation workplans; and set baseline values for select outcome indicators.

The assignment will last from April – July 2024. Applicants are expected to have strong experience in conducting baseline and GESI analyses of similar scope with expertise in cooperative development, agriculture, and GESI integration in programs. Experience conducting assessments in Zambia is essential.
