Invitation for Bids (IFB)

IFB No: MWDS/PSU/W/02/23

The Government of the Republic of Zambia has set aside funds in the 2023 budget for up grading /Mechanization of 410 existing boreholes to small piped water schemes in 10 Provinces of Zambia.

Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020, Part V Section 39 (2) and the Public Procurement Regulations No. 63 of 2011.

Bids must be delivered to and placed in the tender box at the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation, P.O Box 50288, at the foyer of the 3rd Floor, Mukuba House, Dedani Kimathi Avenue Lusaka, on or before Thursday, 30th March, 2023 at 10:30 hours local time. Bids must be appropriately bound, sealed and labelled Lots 1 to 10 (Refer to Bid Data Sheet ITB 1.1 in the Solicitation Document). Bidders are required to submit one (1 No.) original and four (4 No.) copies of their bids for each Lot.

Submission Procedure

Bids will be opened in the Conference Room at the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in form of a Bid Securing Declaration Form and it MUST be in the format provided in the Solicitation Document.
