The method of procurement being used is Open National Bidding and restricted to Citizen Bidders Only as provided for in the Section No. 39(2) and (3) of the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and who are registered with the National Council for Construction in Category "R" -Grades 4 or 5.

Submission Procedure

All bids, in sealed envelopes clearly marked "TENDER FOR THE REHABILITATION OF 350m OF PRESIDENT ROAD IN MBALA DISTRICT and accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the bid sum from a reputable commercial bank duly signed and sealed by the guarantors or an insurance bid security bond of 2% from an insurance company registered in Zambia, must be deposited in the tender box at the Civic Centre-Mbala Municipal Council, Administration Block Foyer, AK Wilombe Lane on or before the 24th March, 2023 at 10:00 hours local time. The bids received shall be opened immediately thereafter in the Council Chamber in the presence of Company of bidders or their representatives who opt to attend. PLEASE NOTE THAT LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED
