The Government of the Republic of Zambia has received financing from the World Bank (WB) to implement the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZIFLP) and intends to apply part of these funds towards the contract for the supply, delivery and installation of laboratory equipment.

The Provincial Administration, Eastern Province now invites sealed bids from eligible and interested suppliers for the supply, delivery and installation of laboratory equipment for the Msekera Research Institute under the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZIFLP).

Bidding will be conducted using the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and agreed provisions in the Financing Agreement. Submission Proceduere

All bids should be appropriately bound and submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked: "TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENTS FOR MSEKERA RESEARCH INSTITUTE UNDER THE ZAMBIA INTEGRATED FOREST LANDSCAPE PROJECT (ZIFLP) and addressed to the Permanent Secretary, and must be sent not later than Wednesday, 18th January, 2023 at 10:00 hours local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than two (2%) per cent of the bid sum duly signed by the Guarantor or bid securing declaration.

The sealed bids must be deposited in the tender box at the Provincial Administration, Eastern Province - Procurement and Supplies Unit, on or before Wednesday, 18th January, 2023 at 10:00 hours local time. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the Conference Room Provincial Administration, Eastern Province in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend.
