The Government of the Republic of Zambia has received funding from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of the Enhanced Smallholder Livestock Investment Programme (E-SLIP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this funding for payments under the Contract for the supply and delivery of One Hundred (100No.) High Powered Motorised Sprayers.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, now invites sealed bids from interested eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of High Powered Motorised Sprayers.
Bidding will be governed by the Government of the Republic of Zambia's eligibility rules and procedures and will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022 to the extent such are consistent with the IFAD Project Procurement Guidelines, 2019, accessible via IFAD website at www.IFAD.org/project-procurment whenever there is a conflict in meaning or
Interpretation, IFAD Framework takes precedence. The tender is open to eligible and interested bidders as specified in the Solicitation Documents.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Head Procurement and Supplies Unit, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Procurement Unit Office, and inspect the Bidding Documents from 08:00 hours to 12:45 hours and 14:00 hours to 16:45 hours.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders online via e-GP and upon paying a participation fee of K1000.00 or its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash.
Submission Procedure
The bids must be submitted on the Zambia Public Procurement Authority Electronic Government Procurement System on or before Wednesday, 3rd May, 2023 at 10:00 hours local time, and must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
THE BID OPENING SHALL TAKE PLACE soon after closing on the Zambia Public Procurement Authority Electronic Government Procurement System on Wednesday, 3 May, 2023 at 10:00 hours local time.
