JOB DETAILS:
Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and components in and around the facility are serviceable.

Duties and Responsibilities
o Ensuring the Generator Set is checked on a daily basis and test-run every day. Refueling the generator to the required standard all time and keeping it clean Daily checking on the status of the two sub stations.
o Checking on all Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) to ensure that they are all working fine
• Checking and fixing all light systems inside the buildings
o Ensuring that the facility has electricity always
o Working with the Head of Maintenance in ensuring better practices of ensuring less power interruptions

Requirements
• Grade Twelve School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Equivalent; Minimum of Crafts Certificate in Electrical or equivalent

• Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once and to work positively and effectively within a team or self-directed model.
• Ability to handle situations ranging from routine to emergency.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
