JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary: The study clinician will be responsible ensuring study participants are screened and recruited in accordance with the study protocol. S/He will be involved in maintaining participant privacy and confidentiality. Perform a wide range of clinical reviews of study participant.

Responsibilities
• Maintain good clinical practice when attending to participants.
• Determination of participant eligibility and clinical assessment of participants
• Collection of blood and other research samples
• Adverse event assessment and reporting
• Participants follow up activities.
• Reporting of any protocol deviation immediately to study manger and PI
• Performance of quality control of study activities
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
• Medical degree MB ChB or General Clinical Medical Science Degree or Diploma with current registration the Health Professional Council of Zambia
• Demonstrates knowledge in TB and HIV services
• Minimum of 2 years working experience
• Experience in public health research or clinical trials will be an added benefit
• Certificate in Good Clinical Practice will be an added advantage
• Excellent social communication skills
• Maintain appropriate working relationships between study team members
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Computer literacy
• Fluency in English and one or more local languages
• Must be willing to work long hours
