JOB DETAILS:
Job purpose
• He /she will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements such as procedures and legal regulations regarding safety, health and quality of work as required by the company.

Key Responsibilities
• Carrying out underground surveys as required /requested according to the design using the Total stations, Levels, inclinometers etc.
• Data collection of 3D profiles, cross sections and all survey related Underground data as well as surface data.
• Maintaining and establishing primary & secondary control points both underground and surface.
• Carry out all surface surveys such as shaft monitoring, mapping and all survey related tasks.
• Providing necessary training and development of subordinates as required & requested by the company.
• Maintenance of surveying equipment to required standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification & Requirements
• Grade 12 Certificate
• A Degree or Diploma in Geomatics/ Surveying qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in the mining sector
• A holder of a practicing license from the Survey Control Board

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
