JOB DETAILS:
The Judiciary is an arm of the Government established under Part Vill of the Constitution (Amended) NO. 2 of 2016. Its mission is "To administer justice to all In an Independent, impartial, competent and timely manner". In order to Improve service delivery, the Judiciary is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies:
3. Drivers (JSS 02) X 20 (ANNUAL BASIC SALARY OF K48.641.83)
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be required to report to the Transport Officer and will be responsible for the following:
• Undertaking regularly and safely the transportation of the officers, materials and equipment in order to facilitate their mobility.
• Undertaking timely the preparation of accidents reports in order to facilitate decision making
• Undertaking timely the completion of log books in order to enhance accountability for journeys:
• Undertaking timely the inspection of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their road worthiness:
• Undertaking effectively the cleaning of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their suitability for use and
• Undertaking timely the reporting of the vehicles faults in order to facilitate their resolutions.
Maximum Vocational/Professional Qualifications
• Minimum Grade 9 Junior Secondary School Certificate of Education
• Valid SADC Driving License for Manual Transmission zero vehicle restrictions), obtained not less than 2 yean.
• Applicant must be below the age of 45 years.
