JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
Supervise and coordinate underground mining activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with mining standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily underground operations and ensure targets are met.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols.
• Conduct inspections to ensure workplace safety and equipment readiness.
• Supervise and train mining crews on safe and efficient work practices.
• Prepare operational and incident reports.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma in Mining Engineering.
• Membership with the Zambia Institute of Engineering (EIZ).
• Valid unrestricted Zambian Blasting License.
• Valid First Aid & Silicosis Certificates.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of Shift Boss & Section Boss RBS training.

Level of Education: Associate Degree
