JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
Reports to the Administrative Assistant. The incumbent ensures office grounds are maintained clean, sanitary and tidy through thorough sweeping and clearing of grass around the premises.

Main duties
• Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Empties waste baskets, empties and cleans ash trays and transports other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment.
• Maintains up to date logs of consumables and cleaning materials
• Cleans windows, walls and ceilings and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary
• Washes dishes and cleans kitchen, cooking utensil, crockery and silverware.
• Cleans and arranges office furniture in the conference/ boardrooms
• Assists in the loading, offloading and movement of furniture, equipment, cargo and office supplies in both offices and warehouse.
• Performs variety of unskilled tasks as helper
• Timely maintenance of all cleaning equipment utilized
• Tending and trimming the lawn whenever due to ensure neat and clean grounds
• Performs simple clerical activities, such as photo copying, delivering mails to offices
• Ensures water dispensers are replenished with water at all times.

Qualifications
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• At least two (2) years cleaning/gardening experience.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Excellent planning skills.
