JOB DETAILS:
Purpose
The main purpose for this position is provide a cleaning service to ensure an environmentally and a hygienically clean university surrounding that is conducive to teaching, learning and research.

Duties And Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day cleaning functions as outlined in the cleaning specifications
• Deep cleaning of all areas as and when required
• Following cost control procedures to ensure that cleaning supplies and time are used in an efficient manner to avoid wastage
• Ensuring that consumables supplies are kept in supply to enable cleaning work to continue without disruption
• Preparing venues for examinations and class tests.
• Ensuring that cleaning equipment is kept in proper working condition and stored away for safekeeping
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualification and Experience & Skills
The University seeks an individual with
• Minimum of Grade 9 certificate
• At least One (1) year experience
• Able to communicate in English

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
