JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
• To attend to all mechanical repairs in the plant and attend to routine preventive maintenance works as scheduled and advise management on the required spare parts to avoid breakdowns and minimize plant downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
• attend to repair works on pumps, gearboxes, shafts, blowers, compressors and maintenance works in the shifts.
• Ensure upkeep of the standby equipment.
• attend to all preventative and annual maintenance planning and ensure that all activities are carried out on time.
• carry out all the 5S,top 15 and top 60 targets.

Required Competencies:
• Knowledge of fitting all types of pumps and mechanical gearboxes.
• thorough knowledge of maintenance and hands on experience of repair works.
• Knowledge of Human and equipment safety.

Qualification and experience:
• 3 to 4 years experience in MFCG Industry in mechanical maintenance works.
• Grade 12 school levers certificate with credits or better passes.
• Craft Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Fitting.
