JOB DETAILS:
Reporting directly to the Assistant Chief Inspector, the job holder will be responsible for the validation and approval of entry and exit transactions during the entire shift.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Making calls to all gates, getting details of the name of gate coordinator, verifying that the booth has vouchers, staplers, plastic bags, etc.
2. Opening the Controlling Room Event Log
3. Filtering the transactions screen on the screens
4. Inspecting and approving all trucks that enter the lanes
5. Checking [Inspecting and signing for all abnormal and explosives trucks before they are given manual tickets
6. Conducting physical inspections of vehicles/trucks were there is insufficient clarity between the system and the voucher.
7. Monitoring all events using CCTV/
8. Handling phone calls coming from the entry gates and cash station
9. Monitoring long/wide trucks or towing trucks as they enter the lanes for smoother operations
10. Verifying of the amounts paid by each truck i.e. round trip or single trip
11. Working from Control Room and conducting all required roles
12. Assisting the Cash Supervisor with verification of reductions and Trans-shipments.

Requirements
• Grade Twelve School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Equivalent;
• Diploma in IT or any related field.
• Minimum of tho (2) years' hands-on experience in a similar role
