JOB DETAILS:
a) Job Purpose
To supervise and undertake human resource management functions and the provision of administrative and logistical support services in order to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the Institution.
b) Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be reporting to the National Coordinator, National Designated Authority and shall be responsible for:
• Human Resources Management: Undertakes human resources management functions in order to enhance staff morale and optimize utilization of human resource;
• Human Resource Development: Undertakes effectively the Human Resource Development functions in order to facilitate staff development and enhance staff performance;
• Office Superintendence: Supervises effectively maintenance of buildings and surroundings in order to enhance a conducive working environment;
• Office Accommodation: Undertakes timely provision of office space and accommodation to officers in order to accommodate staff;
• Office Equipment: Supervises regularly availability and maintenance of office equipment in order to enhance effective and efficient operations of the Institution;
• Transport Management: Supervises effectively the availability and maintenance of the transport system in order to enhance mobility of officers and equipment;
• Performance Management: Supervises and undertakes effectively the implementation of performance management systems in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance staff performance;
• Supervision: Undertakes effectively supervision of human and other resources in order to enhance the operations.
c). Requirements
The applicant must meet the following requirements:
i. Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits including English language or its equivalent;
ii. Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration or equivalent
iii. Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management;
iv. 6 years’ experience;
v. Ability to write technical and analytical reports;
vi. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
