JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
• The key responsibilities among many others include the following: –
• To ensure mobile equipment is maintained in safe, proactive and cost-effective manner.
Strictly adherence to all SHEQ legislation regarding safety and machine maintenance.
Preventing of breakdowns of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and cleaning circuits.
Performing effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
Carry out all maintenance works on all Excavators, hammers and accessories and general services of machines including rebuilds.
Repairing and servicing all heavy equipment products within the established standards.
Maintaining excellent customer relations through frequent communication.
Maintaining maintenance logs and work order documents on equipment repairs using computer and paper forms.
Ensuring compliance to statutory obligations

Qualification/Experience
(i) Grade 12 School Certificate
(ii) Advanced Certificate HER/Diploma Mechanical/B Eng Mechanical
(iii) 5 – 10 years work experience in similar position
(iii) Member of EIZ
(iv) Must be less than 45 years old
(v) Computer literate
(vi) 3 Experience on repairing Drilling Hammers (a must)

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
