Overview
We are hiring!
Our client in Lusaka is looking for an Assistant Internal Auditor to join their team for a job vacancy within the industry.

Responsibilities.
• To plan and organize stock count for all companies of the Group on a bi-annual basis
• To conduct spot checks on stock on a periodic basis
• To report issues and internal control deficiencies identified during stock count and spot checks to Senior Management and provide recommendations thereof
• To review stock reconciliation reports on a periodic basis
• To follow up on Internal Audit reports’ recommendations
• To review and update processes and procedures from an internal control perspective, as and when required
• To perform such other duties as may be directly related to the above

Qualifications and requirements
• Educational qualification – University degree or tertiary education
• Bachelor’s degree from related major, and at least 3 years managerial audit experience
• Previous working experience in auditing industry company is definitely a plus
• Some experience in Operational Risk Management, preferably in a widespread, multi-unit organization or Operations or other relevant business experience
• Good conflict management, negotiation, communication and influencing skills
