JOB DETAILS:
Role Overview:
Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires. Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors. Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications. Explain machine/equipment problems and repairs to clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspect machine/ equipment engine, transmission, differentials, and final drives
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components mobile equipment
• Diagnose issues timely and accurately.
• Inspect machine/ equipment computer and electronic systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts and clean equipment parts or tools to repair or maintain good working order
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and conduct routine maintenance works
• Inspect frontend loaders, mobile cranes, tractors , light vehicles and folk lifts to diagonise issues accurately
• Clean equipment parts or tools to repair or maintain good working order and keep the working environment clean Skills & Competences

• A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines

Preferred candidate qualifications & experience
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics
• Driving License
