JOB DETAILS:
Cctv Operator
Trade Kings Home Care Limited is a leading manufacturer of quality detergents soaps and households products located in Lusaka South Multi Facility Economic Zone Area. In its quest to improve service delivery, the company seeks to employ a suitably qualified individual, highly motivated and goal oriented professional to fill the vacant position listed above.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
1. To manage all surveillance security systems and or cameras within the control centre in an efficient manner and compliance with the operating procedures, legislation, and best practice
2. To maintain a secure system for providing data per the regulations and also to ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times and to report all equipment failures to the Group Security Manager
3. To carry out and log daily equipment checks, and report all faults and failures of CCTV or IT or communication equipment as soon as they occur to the contractors responsible as directed by the Group Security Manager for their maintenance and record all details in the faults log.
4. To liaise with the security agencies and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system and to include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence.
5. To use the CCTV equipment proactively and to its optimum level to help enforcement agencies to detect and deter crime
6. To use the CCTV cameras to identify offenders and provide high quality evidence to enable investigations and necessary prosecutions and if required provide written witness statements and attend court sessions if necessary.
7. To monitor live footage on multiple screens and identify suspicious or unusual behavior
8. To track suspect individuals as they move within a building or through a network of streets
9. to monitor security alarms and camera-activated alarms and carry out the required action to resolve the issues
10. Responsible for the security of the Control Room and its contents, including the security of data and its transfer to authorized departments.
11. To ensure that only authorized personnel are permitted access to the control room and they must be booked in and out
12. Responsible for ensuring that the CCTV system is functioning correctly and that video footage is recorded and stored appropriately.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications
1) Diploma/ Degree in Security or ICT
2) Minimum of 2 years experience in handling security matters in a multi-site environment.
3) Previous experience using CCTV equipment and radios.
4) Proficiency in Microsoft office suits
5) Surveillance system knowledge
6) Having an excellent eye for detail to monitor activities effectively
7) Quick thinking and able to respond logically and swiftly during emergencies
8) Exceptional communication skills to work in partnership with other agencies
9) Ability to multitask
10) Able to demonstrates a high level of integrity and a strong depth of knowledge,
11) Ability to listen well, comprehend and analyze situations; excellent critical thinking and decision making skills, to achieve optimal performance

Other Attributes
1. Good knowledge of electronics
2. Good knowledge of computers
3. Good knowledge and skills of the CCTV operations
4. Able to work under minimum supervision
