JOB DETAILS:
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for translation of both written and verbal exchanges from Chinese to English and vice-versa and also translate written content such as emails, letters and attending meetings where translations are required or necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translate documents into Chinese or vice-versa
• Acting as an interpreter between the employees and the Chinese nationals
• Responsible for daily operations and translation of documents
• Able to attend meetings where interpretation from Chinese to English or vice-versa is required
• Draft or review documents that require translation
• Responsible for other administrative works as assigned by management
• Offer accurate and original translation
• Collaborate with the General Affairs team to ensure translation meets their needs
• Ability to offer advise to both Chinese employees and Zambians on company procedures that relate to employee welfare.
• Train employees of both nationals on diversity, equity and inclusion
• Promote a culture of engagement and team work
• Perform any other duties as required by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Previous 2 – 3 years experience as a Chinese Interpreter
• Proficient in computer skills
• Fluent in Chinese
• Flexible and willing to undertake other duties
• Attention to detail
• Good time management
