Job Purpose
This role plays a key role in supporting client relationships and partnerships to drive innovation projects. This position assists in managing client engagements, facilitating partnerships, and ensuring that collaboration efforts align with the organization’s innovation strategy. The ideal candidate will contribute to building long-term relationships with clients and partners, supporting seamless communication, and delivering innovative solutions to meet evolving needs.
Under the supervision of the Client Liaison & Partnerships Senior Specialist, the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Senior Specialist in managing day-to-day communication with clients, ensuring their needs are addressed.
• Assist in coordinating meetings, follow-ups, and other client touchpoints to maintain positive relationships.
• Gather and document client feedback to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities.
• Assist in coordinating and managing external partnerships with technology providers, startups, and academic institutions.
• Help prepare partnership proposals, presentations, and agreements in collaboration with the Senior Specialist.
• Monitor partnership activities and ensure deliverables align with the agreed terms and innovation objectives.
• Work with internal teams to align client and partner inputs with ongoing innovation initiatives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new products and solutions.
• Assist in organizing co-creation workshops, pilot projects, and collaborative innovation events.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and updates on client and partnership engagements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions, feedback, and project outcomes to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure timely and transparent communication between all involved parties to align expectations.
• Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and potential new partners.
• Identify new client needs and partnership opportunities aligned with the innovation strategy.
• Provide insights to the Senior Specialist on emerging opportunities for collaboration and business growth.
• Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.

Requirements
Qualifications And Experience
• Grade 12 Certificate with Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Innovation Management, or a related field.
• Zambia Qualifications Authority (Zaqa) Verification Certificate for Tertiary Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience with at least 4 years in client management, partnerships, or business development roles, preferably in the technology or innovation space.
• Familiarity with innovation frameworks and co-creation methodologies.
• Basic understanding of business contracts, partnership agreements, and project management.
