Overview
We are recruiting!
Our client in Lusaka is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Pharmaceutical industry.

The following skills are critical:
• Communication: The individual will often spend most of their workday communicating with others. Communication with customers, project managers, internal staff, vendors, contractors and business executives are all crucial to completing the project.
• Project management: Must be able to oversee moving a project along from its initial bid to the final completion. Strong organizational and project management skills are important when managing multiple projects at the same time as will be required.
• Leadership: Strength in developing relationships, managing contractors and creating bids for new projects or supplier opportunities is essential.
• Problem-solving: Since the problems experienced are not uncommon, the individual must have strong problem-solving skills to both identify a problem and take the necessary steps to overcome it, while keeping vendor and financial limitations in mind. Being able to think out of the box in an emerging business, and being able to make difficult decisions under pressure will be critical.
• Time Management: Good time-management is essential for any members of my team to ensure projects are finished on time, reports submitted when required, and roles and responsibilities carried out at the appropriate times.

Key Attributes:
• Very strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Be a respected player in the Zambian Pharma market, with a thorough understanding of the local pharma requirements and idiosyncracies.
• Proven experience in building businesses strategically and commercially in Zambia.
• References from parties willing to support the applicant’s claims.
• Experience dealing in a multi-national business environment.
MUST HAVE CLEAR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL ENVIRONMENT IN ZAMBIA.
