JOB DETAILS:
The CONCRETE MIXER TRUCK DRIVER will be responsible for the cleaning the truck and performing other maintenance tasks as needed, like daily inspections of the truck, equipment, and logging mileage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Taking specialized truck to construction sites and pour concrete from the from the mixer
• load the truck with the proper materials (such as cement)
• mix concrete before a job.
• Operate a concrete mixer truck to transport ready-mix concrete from the plant to the construction site, ensuring timely delivery.
• Inspect the mixer truck before and after each trip, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition to maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
• Clean the mixer drum and chutes after each delivery to prevent concrete from hardening and to maintain the equipment condition and efficiency.
• Communicate with dispatch and construction site managers to confirm delivery details, adjust schedules as necessary, and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
• Maneuver and position the mixer truck at the construction site to facilitate the direct pouring of concrete or to fill concrete pumps or buckets, ensuring minimal disruption to the site.
• Adjust the speed of the drum rotation to mix the concrete en route to the site or to prevent separation of ingredients, ensuring the delivery of quality product.

Education & Experience
• Relevant Diploma
• Valid truck driving license
• More than two (2) years of driving experience
• knowledge of mixer truck driving will be an added advantage
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Familiar with Lusaka Routes
• Must have clean driving record.
