Organization Summary:

Ciheb-Zambia is a non-profit local Zambian organisation supporting Ministry of Health to scale up comprehensive HIV prevention and testing services and find the best solutions to life threatening situations among communities in Zambia, including addressing global health security issues.

Ciheb Zambia is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or companies to provide consultancy services for the supervision of the renovation of an existing building into a fully operational clinic at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), Lusaka. The consultant (individual or firm) will ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while complying with all regulatory and safety requirements.

Objectives of the Consultancy
The primary objective of this consultancy is to supervise and manage the renovation works to ensure:

• The project is completed within the approved timeframe (90 days) and budget.
• All construction and renovation works meet the required architectural, structural, and healthcare facility standards.
• Health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to throughout the project.
• Effective coordination and communication among all stakeholders, including contractors, Ciheb Zambia, and regulatory bodies.

Eligibility Criteria:

• For Individuals: Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with at least 6 years of experience in supervising building construction/renovation projects (healthcare facility experience is an added advantage).
• For Companies: Must be registered with relevant professional bodies, have a proven track record of delivering construction/renovation projects, and demonstrate experience in healthcare facilities or similar projects.
