JOB DETAILS:
Reporting directly to the Chef, the job holder will be responsible for preparing meals following the establishment recipes, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures maintaining a clean environment and delivering food in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
o Drawing up food budgets and advising management on suitable menus Measuring and putting together ingredients for menu items
o Ensuring minimum kitchen wastage.
o Collaborating with line staff on meals to prepare
o Maintaining accurate food inventories
o Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
o Rotating stock items as per established procedures
o Restocking kitchen with required utensils
o Assisting in creating a safe space by following safety procedures and wearing protective gear for the kitchen
o Ensuring that the food preparation area, utensils and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of any shift

Requirements
• Grade Twelve School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Equivalent; o Minimum Training in Culinary' Arts or any related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years' work experience in a similar high-tension environment 1 year of which must be in a similar environment
